High Scores - The Free Game Hall of Fame
Is seeing your name near the top of a list of high scores important
to you? If you don’t beat your personal best does it ruin your
day? Why do you play free games online? Do you need a reason
other than ‘it’s fun’? Do you have a favourite game or are
you willing to play anything to pass the time? Would you say
you win more often than you lose and, if so, are you are gracious
winner or a sore loser?
Quentin Bellamy held the top position for a very popular game on a website which
is famous for attracting a lot of visitors. “I got the highest score imaginable
on my favourite game. My friends couldn’t believe how good I was. I felt so proud
of myself when I saw my name at the top of the list of names. It was almost as
if I was a gold medal winner and the champion of champions or something. I’m
hungry!”
Quentin has wasted a large portion of his life playing free games online but
he doesn’t appear to be phased by that. It’s funny how obtaining a high score
can compensate for losing a section of your life that you will never have the
chance to live again. I guess some people are just natural born game players
while others don’t understand the whole gaming lifestyle choice. The world would
be a very boring place if everyone was the same. |
